Police, firefighters and paramedics from North Chicago responded about 7:39 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 to a report of a shooting in a residential apartment neighborhood in the block of 1400 Cypress Avenue in North Chicago.
Police, firefighters and paramedics on arrival discovered two gunshot victims. CPR was administered on one of the victims, and victims were transported to two area hospitals.
At least eight shots were fired into a dark sedan discovered at the scene, and at least 22 evidence markers were positioned on the ground at the scene.
