Arlington Heights police responded about 8:16 AM Friday March 17, 2023 to a battery in the underground parking garage 35 South Evergreen Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that a female battery victim reported to police that she parked her vehicle in the underground parking garage. After exiting her vehicle, she opened the rear door to retrieve personal belongings.
After the victim was approached by the unknown offender, the stranger aggressively grabbed her shoulders and delivered a hard squeeze putting the victim in great fear.
The victim provided a description of the subject who officers identified as a known homeless subject. The gender of the suspect was not initially released by the Arlington Heights Police Department.
The suspect was later arrested and charged. Check later for an update to this report.
