Police, firefighters and paramedics from Mount Prospect responded about 9:20 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 to a report of a crash with injuries near the Shell gas station at 1200 North River Road in Mount Prospect. A caller reported one person was trapped and one vehicle was smoking. No vehicle fire was reported.
A second ambulance was requested to the scene at 9:37 p.m. Two people were transported to a nearby hospital.
A silver Subaru and a blue Hyundai were moderately to severely damaged in the front of the vehicles.
