Police, firefighters and paramedics from Waukegan responded about 8:30 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023 to a report of a shooting in the block of 900 Martin Luther King Jr Avenjue in Waukegan.
Upon arrival, police secured the scene and discovered two gunshot victims. Both victims were transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Condell Medical Center.
A witness heard multiple shots, and police placed several evidence markers on the ground at the scene. A window was also visible with several bullet holes through the glass.
