Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 2:56 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to a report of a crash with possible injuries at Euclid Avenue and Dunton Avenue in Arlington Heights. Police, firefighters and paramedics on arrival discovered a yellow special needs bus and a silver passenger car with minor damage. Seven children and the bus driver were aboard the bus. All were evaluated, and there were no injuries and no transports by paramedics.
The driver of a box truck that was traveling northbound on Dunton Avenue almost crashed into car when the truck driver decided to make a right turn to eastbound Euclid Avenue. The driver of a small car moved up to the right of the truck in a narrow lane barely available between the truck and the curb, but the truck driver didn’t see the small car when he was deciding to make a right turn to avoid the road block on Dunton Avenue north of Euclid Avenue.
