Police, firefighters and paramedics from Mount Prospect responded about 5:13 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2022 to a report that a pedestrian was hit by a Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line near Northwest Highway and Emerson Street Mount Prospect.
Train #633 struck a pedestrian near the Mount Prospect Metra station.
The victim was discovered deceased at the scene.
