Police, firefighters and paramedics from Kenosha responded about 7:20 p.m. to a report of a suspicious subject in the neighborhood of 69th Street and 64th Avenue. Police received a report that the unknown offender was damaging vehicles at random and attempting to enter several homes, where homeowners did not know the suspicious person.
Allegedly, when the suspicious male forced his way into one of the houses and attacked the homeowner, the homeowner fought back and the intruder was subsequently killed during the struggle. The Kenosha Police Department did not report that any weapons were involved. The manner of death was initially unknown. Kenosha Police Department investigators remained on the scene late Friday night.
The Kenosha police department reported there was no active threat to the community, but that was after the intruder was killed by a homeowner.
