Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Prospect Heights responded about 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022 to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the block of 800 East Old Willow Road in Prospect Heights.
Also, a person reported at 8:09 p.m. on the Neighbors app that eight loud pops were heard, and then police were “swarming the scene.” The person reporting on the Neighbors app was walking the dog when the shots were heard. The Neighbors app user wrote that the “loud pops” didn’t come from the Quincy Apartments, but from another complex nearby.
