Chicago Bears Community Meeting at John Hersey High School to Discuss Potential Purchase and Possible Development of Arlington Park
The Chicago Bears invited the public to join the Chicago Bears for a community meeting at John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights. The Chicago Bears on Thursday, September 8, 2022 have scheduled to host an informational community meeting to discuss the potential purchase and possible development of Arlington Park. The meeting will include opening remarks from team leadership and conceptual plans for a transit-oriented mixed-use entertainment district anchored by a stadium that would be one of the largest development projects in Illinois state history.
The meeting will take place tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in John Hersey High School’s gymnasium located at 1900 East Thomas Street, Arlington Heights. School parking lots are scheduled to open at 5:00 p.m. and doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Guests will not be allowed on campus prior to 5:00 p.m.
Attendees will be admitted first come, first served until capacity is reached.
The Chicago Bears emphasized that the meeting is informational only and should not be confused with an official public meeting hosted by the Village of Arlington Heights. If the project were to move forward, all required public meetings will take place at later dates.
