Police, firefighters and paramedics from Schaumburg responded about 4:33 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 to a report that a victim was stabbed in the block of 200 Maplebrook Court, Schaumburg.
Apparently a male victim called for help indicating that he was stabbed. Police, who were first on the scene, confirmed a victim may have been stabbed. The scene was determined to be secure, and paramedics moved up to treat a victim with apparent stab wounds.
A Schaumburg Police Department forensics van was located near the scene until about 7:20 p.m. according to a witness. The Major Case Assistance Team (MCAT) van was not at the scene, according to a witness. Police may have been breaking down at least part of the scene at about 7:30 p.m.
