Police, firefighters and paramedics from Des Plaines responded about 7:23 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2021 to a report of an industrial accident with injuries at Nu-Industries, 555 Howard Avenue in Des Plaines.
Firefighters and paramedics received a report that an employee had been caught in a machine but was released before paramedics and firefighters arrived.
The injured worker was transported to a nearby hospital with extra paramedics on board the ambulance for Advanced Life Support treatment.
Nu-Way Industries is a metal fabricator that makes custom products for a wide variety of industries.
