Arlington Heights police, firefighters and paramedics responded about 10:04 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 to several Automatic Fire Alarms due to a power line disturbance. Palatine Fire Department responded about 9:01 p.m. to a power report of a power pole on fire at Northwest Highway and Warren Avenue in Palatine near the border with Arlington Heights.
Palatine firefighters requested ComEd to the scene. Northwest Highway was blocked in both directions at Warren Avenue while the utility pole was burning.
