Buffalo Grove police responded Thursday, February 17, 2022 to a report that a customer was trying to cash a fake check at the First Midwest Bank, 555 West Dundee Road in Buffalo Grove.
Buffalo Grove police on arrival located the suspect, Oliver Garcia, and during his arrest at 3:55 p.m., discovered the suspect possessed a Glock 19 semi-automatic pistol with a 24-round capacity magazine containing 23 rounds.
Oliver Garcia, 19, of the block of 3000 20th Place, North Chicago, is accused of forgery, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
