Police, firefighters and paramedics from Rolling Meadows responded about 11:40 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2021 to a report of a shooting at the Stadium Sports Club & Pizza, 4015 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows.
Police arrived first and discovered three people wounded — one with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, one wounded in an unspecified limb with a tourniquet applied, and another with an unspecified wound.
One victim, believed to be the victim with the gunshot wound to the abdomen, was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. One victim was transported to Northwest Community Hospital. These two victims were transported with Advanced Life Support with an extra paramedic on board each Rolling Meadows Fire Department rescue ambulance.
The third victim was not transported by paramedics. A Schaumburg Fire Department rescue ambulance was assigned to the scene, but it was unknown if Schaumburg paramedics assessed the third victim.
Rolling Meadows Police Department is investigating the shooting. The possible shooter is in custody. Police from Arlington Heights, Palatine and Schaumburg were assigned to back up Rolling Meadows police officers responding to a report of the shooting inside the bar.
