Police, firefighters and paramedics from Bedford Park responded about 8:30 a.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 to a report of an fire at the FedEx facility 6833 West 75th Street in Bedford Park.
The fire at 9:05 a.m. did not involve the building, but three semi-trailer trucks were burning. Firefighters were working to extinguish the fire and move the trailer away from the building.
There was some smoke affecting the building, which required ventilation.
A MABAS Division 21 Box Alarm #73 was activated about 8:46 a.m.
Firefighters, paramedics and/or command officers from Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, and Lyons were assigned to the scene.
Firefighters, paramedics and/or command officers from Tri-State, Hometown, and Orland were assigned to standby at Bedford Park fire stations.
