McHenry County Sheriff’s deputies and Wonder Lake police responded about 9:45 PM Monday November 22, 2021 to an armed robbery at Sunrise Food & Liquor, 5313 East Wonder Lake Road Wonder Lake, IL. Police received a report of an armed robbery at Sunrise Food & Liquor, 5313 East Wonder Lake Road in Wonder Lake. Police received a report that four subjects were involved in the robbery. At least two of the suspects were armed.
Suspect #1 was described as a male/white or Hispanic wearing a black jacket, gray hoodie, black pants, black shoes and armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #2 was described as a male wearing a blue sweatshirt, tattoo on the back side of his right hand, tan pants, blue face covering, gray shoes, also armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.
Suspect #3 was described as a male/black or Hispanic wearing a black zip hoodie, white shirt, black shoes and white gloves.
Suspect #4 was described as a female/white with brown hair and blonde highlights, wearing pink pants, black shirt and leopard print shoes.
The crime is reported to have occurred about 9:30 p.m.
