Lake County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters and paramedics from Long Grove responded about 5:22 am. Monday, September 27, 2021 to a report of a street sweeper crash on Route 53 near Shiloh Drive in Long Grove.
UPDATE:
Crash scene is clear at 7:39 a.m.
The first fire crew on arrival reported a single-vehicle crash involving street sweeper with moderate damage. One patient was transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.
Northbound Route 53 was backed up to the driveway entrance to The Davey Tree Expert Company at about 7:00 a.m. Southbound Route 53 was backed up to the driveway to The Grove Country Club at 7:00 a.m. The scene is expected to be cleared sometime before 7:50 a.m.
