Police and firefighters and paramedics from Elk Grove Village responded about 7:49 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 to a report of a vehicle crash into a house on Meacham Road south of Nerge Road in Elk Grove Village.
Police were first on the scene reported the crash about 300 feet south of Nerge Road. A vehicle crashed into the back of a house where the backyards of homes are adjacent to Meacham Road.
The driver may have suffered a medical issue prior to the crash. Elk Grove Village Fire Department paramedics treated and transported the driver to a nearby hospital.
The Elk Grove Village Building Department was called out to check for structural stability and a hole in the house was boarded up by a boarding company.
