Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 7:27 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2021 to a report of a vehicle crash into a building with injuries at the All About Nails store location at 4204 North Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
Ambulance 4’s crew on arrival reported that the vehicle was already back out of the building before their arrival, but that structural damage was visible at the location in the Terramere Plaza strip mall.
Paramedics assessed the driver for injuries. There was initially no report of any people injured inside the building.
The Village of Arlington Heights Building Department was called to the scene to evaluated the structural damage to the building. The store is located in a 6-unit strip mall building — one of two strip mall buildings and an office building on the property at the southwest corner of Arlington Heights Road and Lake Cook Road. Initially there was no information regarding whether the vehicle left Arlington Heights Road southbound lanes or whether vehicle was already in the parking lot when the crash occurred.
The information in this article is an early report published before any summary information was confirmed or released by police or fire authorities.
