Police, firefighters and paramedics from Wheeling responded about 8:49 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 to a report of a person trapped in a machine at Aargus Plastics, 540 Allendale Drive in Wheeling.
Wheeling’s Battalion Chief reported the person was extricated from the machine before firefighters arrived. Paramedics were immediately assessing and treating the patient.
According to Aargus Plastics, Inc. the manufacturer uses polyethylene extruders, printers, converters and recyclers, and has a history as a polyethylene manufacturer since 1959. The makes custom bags and liners for many name brand worldwide.
