One shooting victim is dead after four people were shot at the Trilogy Nightclub west of downtown St. Charles early Sunday morning, June 27, 2021, according to the St. Charles Police Department.
Police from St. Charles responded to 911 calls of shots fired about 2:03 a.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Trilogy Nightclub, 2051 Lincoln Highway. Police officers first on the scene discovered two gunshot victims outside on a sidewalk outside the nightclub, located in a unit of the Tri-City Center St. Charles strip mall.
Both victims were transported by St. Charles Fire Department paramedics to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, where one victim was pronounced dead. A third victim was transported to Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital by a friend. The two surviving victims were treated with emergency surgery. One victim was listed in critical condition, and one victim was listed in stable condition.
A fourth gunshot victim was transported to Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora. That shooting was treated and released.
One of the victims may have temporarily re-located to the Dunkin’ Donuts at the strip mall before being transported to the hospital.
Initially no suspects are in custody, and anyone with information about the shooting is urged to call the St. Charles Police Department Detective Division at 630-377-4435.
