Police, firefighters and paramedics from Elk Grove Village responded about 12:41 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in the block of 600 Meacham Road north of Biesterfield Road in Elk Grove Village.
Police on arrival reported the motorcyclist was under the SUV. Engine 10’s crew on arrival confirmed the motorcyclist was under the SUV, but was not entrapped.
The male motorcyclist, age 55 of Rolling Meadows, was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge with serious injuries.
Initial investigation indicates the crash occurred when a female driver, age 46 of Schaumburg, exited a driveway in a Toyota Highlander and crashed with a motorcyclist traveling on Meacham Road.
