Markham Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred at 7:35 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2021 at a BP gas station at 16655 Crawford in Markham. Initially two people were found shot at the scene. Police had received a report that male/black subjects were shooting at each other. A total of three victims were found wounded — two were suffering traumatic cardiac arrest at the scene.
The offender is described as a male/black wearing a hoodie and black pants.
The offender fled in a white Nissan Sentra with tinted windows, no license plates, and a missing a hub cap at the driver’s side front wheel. The offender and vehicle were last seen traveling eastbound on 167th Street from the scene.
As of 9:15 p.m. the suspect is considered armed and dangerous and is at large.
Country Club Hills police and Oak Forest police assisted Markham police at the scene.
