The FBI on Thursday, May 13, 2021 released a WANTED poster for First Degree Murder suspect Devontay Davoucci Anderson, who is wanted for his alleged involvement in the violent murder of a 7-year-old girl, Jaslyn Adams, in Chicago, Illinois. At approximately 4:18 p.m. on April 18, 2021, Anderson and an associate Demond Goudy, 21, allegedly fired into a vehicle carrying the child and her father as they waited in the drive-thru of a McDonald’s restaurant. The child was struck several times and fatally injured. The child’s father was struck once, but survived.
On April 26, 2021, Anderson was charged with first degree murder in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, and a state warrant was issued for his arrest. A federal arrest warrant was issued for Anderson on April 29, 2021, in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, Chicago, Illinois, after he was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Anderson is known to have connections to Illinois, Indiana, and Florida, where he may have been tracked in Miami.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Devontay Davoucci Anderson.
Devontay Anderson may have fled the state and the FBI has issued a $10,000 reward for information.
The other shooting suspect, Demond Goudy, 21, was taken into custody on Monday April 26, 2021 after a standoff with SWAT at a residence in the block of 1500 South Springfield Avenue in Chicago.
Authorities believe a third suspect, Marion Lewis, 18, was driving the vehicle that the shooters used to shot at the vehicle with Jaslyn and her father inside. The 18-year-old was also charged in her murder. Marion Lewis was the first suspect arrested after he was shot by Chicago police after allegedly carjacking a vehicle on the Eisenhower Expressway on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Marion Lewis was also charged with 17 other felony charges, including one count of aggravated vehicular hijacking, three counts of attempted first-degree murder and six counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm.
