Police, firefighter, and paramedics from Elk Grove Village responded about 3:49 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 to a report of a crash with injuries, including an infant injured.
A second ambulance was dispatched at 3:54 p.m., and a third ambulance was dispatched at 3:55 p.m. A fourth ambulance from Schaumburg, and then an EMS Box Alarm was requested by about 4:03 p.m. A total of seven or eight ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
At least one of the patients was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
A MABAS Division 1 EMS Box Alarm #10-A was activated at 4:03 p.m.
Firefighters, paramedics and command officers from Elk Grove Village, Elk Grove Township, Hanover Park, Itasca, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, and Schaumburg were assigned to the scene.
Firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights, Des Plaines, Hoffman Estates, and Mount Prospect were dispatched to stand by in Elk Grove Village fire stations.
The MABAS Box Alarm was struck out at 4:21 p.m.
