ELECTION NIGHT RESULTS FOR APRIL 6, 2021
The Arlington Heights Village Board had four seats up for re-election with two trustees deciding not to run. Following two decades of service as a financial expert on the board, Trustee Bert Rosenberg announced he would not be running for re-election. Trustee Greg Padovani was appointed by Mayor Thomas Hayes in January 2019 after Thomas Glasgow resigned in December 2018.
Trustee James J. Tinaglia and Trustee Richard Baldino both won as the two incumbents running for re-election. New Trustee-elect James J. Bertucci, who ran as a candidate with strong financial background, recorded the highest number of votes with 5,715 or 19.91% — just ahead of James J. Tinaglia. New Trustee-elect Nicolle Grasse won her seat with 5,237 votes.
