Police, firefighters, and paramedics from Evanston responded about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 to a report that a pedestrian was hit by a Metra train on the Union Pacific Northwest Line near Davis Street in Evanston. Police and paramedics received a report that a person was hit while running to catch a train, and that CPR was in progress.
Traffic was backed up on Maple Avenue and on Davis Street.
