The Arlington Heights Police Department reported about 2:30 p.m. Sunday March 14, 2021 that the main non-emergency line for the police department is not working. The police department posted statements on Twitter and Facebook that there were phone troubles with the non-emergency line (847-368-5300). “We are aware of the issue and are working on repairs. Some callers have been able to get thru – Please keep trying. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911,” according to the message from the Arlington Heights Police Department.
The number is normally answered 24-hours at the Arlington Heights police desk at the police station located at 200 East Sigwalt Street in Arlington Heights. The number is also used answer public works emergency calls on weeknights and weekends.
