Illinois State Police and firefighters paramedics from Arlington Heights and Schaumburg responded about 7:03 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries on westbound Interstate 90 near the exit from I-90 to Route 53.
Illinois State Police and Arlington Heights firefighters and paramedics discovered a white Ford pickup truck on its side.
The driver or a passenger fled the scene on foot. A witness reported a person running from the scene.
Passersby were attempting to bypass the crash by using the exit to Route 53.
One male adult was transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Arlington Heights Fire Department paramedics with injuries initially assessed to be non-life-threatening.
A Jeep SUV was also damaged by debris from the rollover pickup truck, and the crash was classified a 2-unit personal injury crash.
