Jeep Wrangler rollover after slush-slide into tree on Rand Road in Arlington Heights during the Monday morning rush February 22, 2022.
Police firefighter, paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 6:35 a.m. Monday, February 22, 2020 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries in the block of 700 East Rand Road near Casey Automotive and Pavlis Furs in Arlington Heights.
The first fire crew on arrival reported a vehicle on its side. Firefighters and paramedics stabilized the Jeep Wrangler and extricated the driver, who was transported to Northwest Community Hospital with injuries that initially appeared to be non-life-threatening.
The crash was affecting traffic on eastbound Rand Road (US12) with a right lane closure.
A witness reported that the driver attempted to pass on the right, and slid into a parkway tree. The Jeep bounced off the tree and then rolled over onto the passenger side in the eastbound lanes of Rand Road (US-12).
