Nine Lake County restaurants and bars were fined during the second week of February 2021 for serving customers indoors this winter during the second State of Illinois indoor dining ban in the government’s effort to control the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
The restaurants were cited by the Lake County Health Department and were found liable for violating the county’s public nuisance ordinance.
Jimmy’s Charhouse in Libertyville fined $550
Moretti’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in Fox Lake fined $550.
The Point Pancake House in Gurnee fined $400
Fox Lake Family Restaurant in Fox Lake fined $400
Jen G’s Pizza and Pub in Beach Park fined $400.
Granny’s Lakeside Diner in Antioch fined $400.
Jesse Oaks Food & Drink in Grayslake fined $400.
Whistle Stop Cafe in Fox Lake fined $400.
Bootleggers in Antioch fined $400.
