Palatine police, firefighters and paramedics responded about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 to the block of 1000 Bayside Drive for the report of a subject who had been robbed and stabbed with significant blood loss.
Upon arrival Palatine police officers located a male victim approximately 20 years-old who had sustained stab wounds. The victim was rush-transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Palatine police officers on scene learned there are two possible suspects:
Suspect 1: Male/Hispanic in his late late teens, wearing a black puffy jacket with long wavy hair
Suspect 2: Male/Hispanic in his late teens, wearing a black jacket, gold colored hooded sweatshirt, and white scarf
The suspects were last seen northbound through the apartment complex located on Bayside Drive.
Palatine Police Department stated this is initially considered to be an isolated incident, and that there is no threat to the public.
