Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:01 AM Wednesday December 30, 2020 of a residential burglary in the block of 1800 North Patton Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully entered the victim’s garage through unknown means. There were no signs of forced entry into the garage.
Prior to the burglary, the victim had posted publicly on Facebook about receiving new tools as a gift and about going out of town for the holidays. Taken from the garage was the new tools valued at approximately $160.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 12:00 AM and Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 12:00 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 192 (hours: minutes) or about 8 days.
