Local station KING 5 (NBC affiliate) did NOT emphasize that the crowd approached and surrounded the police SUV before the rioter was run over. Other videos show that people in the crowd did not get out of the way when a police SUV approached with emergency lights flashing and an emergency horn blaring. One woman walked up casually and defiantly with her hands in her pants pockets … right up to the right, front bumper.
National network news reports provided more details about the crowd surrounding the police SUV, but headlines did not indicate the potential threat to the police officer in the SUV.

Stop saying “oh my god” – God wouldn’t want you to be in the middle of the road blocking a cop car. God isn’t on your side.
You might wanna check left&right before stepping onto the road, there might be emergency vehicles coming. They have all kinds of lights though to let you know to step a side so it shouldn’t be that hard to spot ’em.
