Surface high pressure just to the west of our CWA is bringing light northeasterly winds, with residual moisture from Friday`s
precipitation creating limited visibilities from fog averaging 2 to 4 miles. Our region is covered with low clouds ranging from 200` up to 1500`, while temperatures remain near to below freezing. An upper level low and associated precipitation is presently moving from Nebraska and Oklahoma into southwest Missouri. According to the National Weather Service Office Chicago, the latest model runs indicate snow entering southwest portions of Chicagoland between 10 PM and 12 AM with the steadiest rates of snowfall starting after midnight generally southeast of I-55. Arlington Heights and nearby northwest suburbs are likely to get less 0.25 inch of snowfall.
