Hampshire police officers responded Monday, January 18, 2021 to a report of articles of clothing found near the block of 200 White Oak Street in Hampshire. A person walking a dog reported finding clothing northeast of White Oak Street and east of Stoneshire Court, and Hampshire police discovered human remains.
The Kane County coroner’s office took possession of the human remains and is working to identify the remains.
Hampshire police stated that investigators have no evidence to indicate there’s a threat to the community.
