Christian Frazee, age 25, is facing ten counts of Child Pornography – Possessing Visual Reproduction on Computer of a Victim Under Age 13. The suspect, free on bond for a terrorism charge, had previously been charged with attempted terrorism on June 1, 2020 after bringing a Molotov cocktail firebomb on the property of the Lombard municipal. He is now in jail again, facing felony child pornography charges.
Frazee initially was arrested June 1, 2020 on the property of the Lombard municipal complex, after he allegedly walked past Lombard’s Village Hall, and headed toward several Lombard police vehicles. According to court documents, Frazee had a Molotov cocktail firebomb in one hand and a butane torch lighter in the other hand. Police also found eight other lighters in his backpack. Frazee was also armed with a baseball bat.
In June 2020, a DuPage County judge had set Frazee’s bail in the terrorism case at $1 million. Frazee posted the necessary 10%, or $100,000, bond on June 30, 2020, and was released from custody.
DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert B. Berlin said in a news release that during the investigation into the attempted terrorism charges, hundreds of images and videos of child pornography were found on Frazee’s cellphone.
Christian Frazee, 5’8” and 180 LBS, of the block of 900 South Lombard Avenue, was arrested and booked Wednesday, December 23, 2020, and appeared Thursday morning, December 24, 2020 in DuPage County bond court. His bail was set at $250,000. Frazee was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, a Class 2 felony, according to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert B. Berlin.
Frazee’s next scheduled court date is Thursday, January 7, 2021.
