Eighteen people injured at 12-unit apartment building at the Fairington apartment complex in Stonecrest in DeKalb County, Georgia (Sally Sears/CBS46).
DeKalb County firefighters responded Friday, December 11, 2020 to extinguish an apartment fire in the block of 2300 Fairington Village Drive.
Seven people escaped flames, smoke and heat by jumping from the building. DeKalb Fire PIO reported 18 people have sustained injuries, with 17 transported to a hospital or hospitals.
