On Saturday night, November 7, 2020 at about 7:43 p.m. CT an object with blinking lights flew from South-Southwest to North-Northeast over the Stonegate neighborhood, just north of the intersection of Northwest Highway and Arthur Avenue in Arlington Heights.
Two witness observed a rectangular object with six to ten lights blinking in sync. There were two banks of the flashing lights — lined up in parallel. The object flew in the same direction that the lights were lined up.
The object flew above the tops of full-sized trees, and possibly even double the height of tall trees. The object made no noise, flew at a constant speed, and made no turns. The object appeared from the south-southwest after it was unobstructed by a rooftop, and continued to the horizon in the north-northeast. The lights remained bright even as the object approached the north-northeast horizon and disappeared. The object probably disappeared on the horizon about two or three miles from where it was initially observed.
The multiple synchronized lights did not flash as strobes flash, but blinked like a “Don’t Walk” crosswalk warning sign blinks. The Arlington Heights Police Department drones have strobe lights that flash like airplane strobe lights. Cardinal News called the Arlington Heights Police Department and confirmed that their drones were not known to be active at 7:43 p.m. Saturday.
The object flew quickly across the sky — crossing the sky more quickly than an airplane would cross the sky.
So was it a UFO to everyone on earth; or was it a commercial drone or experimental drone?
