Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 5:35 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2020 to a report of a rollover crash with injuries on Rand Road west of Arlington Heights Road — about in front of Trader Joe’s.
Police first on the scene reported two people trapped in a rolled over vehicle. A second ambulance was dispatched based on that information.
Firefighters opened up the roof and/or windshield with extrication tools two extricate two crash victims from the vehicle by 5:57 p.m.
Two patients were transported in one ambulance to Northwest Community Hospital with injuries that initially appeared to be non-life-threatening. A third patient was assessed by paramedics from the second ambulance dispatched, and was possibly transported in the third ambulance, but this was not confirmed.
