Police and firefighter/paramedics from North Maine Fire Protection District responded about 6:13 p.m. to a report of a crash with entrapment at Golf Road and Western Avenue.
Police were first on the scene and discovered a person was or had been trapped under a vehicle.
Firefighter/paramedics reported the person was free from under the vehicle by 6:18 p.m. A witness reported Good Samaritans backed the vehicle off of the victim before police and firefighter/paramedics arrived.
Paramedics transported one patient on “Trauma Alert” to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
The crash scene was cleared by about 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
