Lake County Sheriff’s deputies and firefighters and paramedics from Beach Park Fire Department responded about 10:28 a.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 to a report of a house fire in the block of 38400 North Green Bay Road in Beach Park.
Firefighters on arrival reported fire showing from a one-story house.
A MABAS Division 4 Box Alarm #12-1 was activated at by 10:33 a.m.
Firefighters working with one elevated master stream and several hand lines.
Firefighter/paramedics and command officers from Antioch, Lake Forest, Libertyville, Mundelein, North Chicago, and Waukegan responded with mutual aid assignments to assist Beach Park firefighters.
The fire may have been caused by a person burning leaves between a detached garage and the house.
