Halloween Stabbing Saturday night at Comfort Inn at 2120 South Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 11:16 p.m. on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, 2020 to a report that a man was stabbed in the chest at the Comfort Inn at 2120 South Arlington Heights Road.
The male adult victim was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.
The suspect was at large last night, and was not initially described by police. The suspect was likely captured on video by the hotel security cameras. A friend of the victim at the scene said it was his friend that was stabbed by another male.
A K-9 search did not discover the suspect, who is believed to have immediately fled a good distance from the scene, according to a witness.
A witness at the scene described that the crime scene inside the hotel was a large scene.
