Police, firefighters and paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 8:24 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020 to a report of a crash with entrapment after a minivan came to rest against a tree after an intersection crash at Arlington Heights Road and Golf Road in Arlington Heights.
A female driver in the minivan was possibly helped out of the passenger side of the minivan before firefighters and paramedics arrived. The minivan left the roadway and came to rest between the Walgreens sign and a small tree, which blocked her exit from the driver’s door. The driver was assessed by paramedics and refused transportation to the hospital. Initially, no serious injuries were reported at this scene.
Both vehicles showed moderate to severe front-end damage.
