Police and firefighter/paramedics from Arlington Heights responded about 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 to a report of smoke in a hallway in a condo building in the block of 2600 North Windsor Drive in Arlington Heights. There was also a report that a female subject may have set something on fire in a condo unit or a hallway.
Firefighters on arrival reported no smoke showing, with some evacuation of the building. Firefighters staged near the scene until police secured the interior space in the condo building.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene but there was no transport, and it was initially unknown if there was an arrest. Seven police units were on the scene.
