Police and firefighter/paramedics from Morton Grove responded about 1:58 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2020 to a report of a crash with entrapment at Dempster Street and Harlem Avenue in Morton Grove.
Firefighter/paramedics transported one patient to Level 1 Trauma Center with possible life-threatening injuries.
Four ambulances were dispatched to the scene for at least four people injured.
The crash scene involving three or four vehicles was spread across a length of Dempster Street from Harlem Avenue to Shermer Road. Police have Dempster Street closed in both directions from Harlem Avenue to Shermer Road. Also westbound Dempster Street is closed from Waukegan Road/Caldwell Avenue to Shermer Road for the investigation of the crash.
