Arlington Heights Apartment Burglarized While Victim Is Away, Living in Nursing Home

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:01 PM Saturday August 29, 2020 of a residential burglary at an apartment in the block of 500 South Cleveland Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully entered the victim’s vacant apartment while the victim was away and residing in a nursing home.

Taken from the apartment were several pieces of furniture, electronics, jewelry, and silverware. The total value of the stolen items is pending further investigation.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, August 29, 2020 between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 1:30 (hours: minutes).
