Police and firefighter/paramedics from Streamwood responded about 12:08 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2020 to a report of a two-vehicle crash with entrapment at Irving Park Road and Sutton Road, Streamwood.
The first crew on arrival reported at least one vehicle with heavy damage. Firefighter/paramedics worked with extrication tools to free a person from a crashed vehicle. The victim was extricated by about 12:35 p.m.
A second ambulance was requested by 12:13 p.m.
At least one patient was transported to Level 1 Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Southbound Sutton Road was backed up to Magnolia Drive by 12:40 p.m.
