DuPage County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report on Monday August 24, 2020 that a male offender was stalking women in person and via multiple fake Instagram accounts going back to November 2019.
Charles M. Villasenor II, 24, a grocery clerk that resides in Glen Ellyn, was arrested Friday, August 28, 2020 after detectives executed a search warrant for the investigation. Police say in February 2020 he burglarized two vehicles, one in Glen Ellyn and one in Carol Stream. He is also accused of burglarizing a second vehicle at the same Carol Stream address in the first week of August 2020.
Charles M. Villasenor II is accused of stalking at least two women both through Instagram and in person before the vehicle burglaries.
Charles M. Villasenor II is charged with three counts of burglary without causing damage and one count of stalking which caused a victim to fear for her safety, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office. Related to the stalking charge, Charles M. Villasenor II is accused of engaging in threatening and stalking behavior against a Carol Stream woman from November 1, 2019 until his arrest.
