Cook County Sheriff’s police and firefighter/paramedics from Melrose Park and Bensenville responded about 11:00 p.m. Thursday August 13, 2020 to Junior’s Place bar in a strip mall at the southeast corner of Grand Avenue and Wolf Road, where four people were shot.
Wanted for investigation is a suspect described as a male/Hispanic, short in stature, wearing a black Bull’s hat worn backwards, and a black Bull’s jersey. The suspect, armed with a gun, was last seen walking southbound on Laporte Avenue in unincorporate Leyden Township near Melrose Park.
The crime scene was located in unincorporated Cook County and Leyden Township, about 1.5 mile south of the O’Hare International Airport south property line.
